About Us

Green Earth Stones is a small family run business out of South Central Kentucky and was created by Kathryn Brown. Kathryn shares her love of crystals, gemstone knowledge and healing modalities to offer you items and service to promote well-being of the mind, body and spirit. Kathryn currently holds a Level 2 Reiki Certification and Crystal Healing Diploma (SAC Dip) she is also currently working through a study in the “New Thought” movement of metaphysical beliefs concerning the effects of positive thinking, the law of attraction, life force, and creative visualization. She is a bard member of the Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids (OBOD, England) Kathryn is English and settled down in the beautiful blue grass state of Kentucky with her husband, two sons and two daughters and not forgetting Pookie & Onyx, the two house cats!

Green Earth Stones offers a wide range of high quality crystals, tumbled stones, gemstone jewelry, incense and many other products that promote relaxation and well-being. We are constantly adding to our site with crystal informational pieces that cover everything from cleansing and caring for your crystal pieces, choosing crystals for meditation, to listing their properties and uses throughout history. We strive to give excellent service to all our customers and look forward to receiving any feedback that you may have. We donate to a tree rescue project, contributing to the replanting of trees throughout the country after suffering from forest fires and other natural disasters. We also donate to a local animal rescue/no kill shelter by providing supplies. We would like to thank all of our customers, past and present, you do make a difference and together we give back to our environment. We always try to purchase our supplies from companies that support ethical mining, and strive as a company to find ways to recycle, re-use and give back to the environment.

If we do use packing peanuts, they have not been purchased we are re-using the clean packaging that has been used on our incoming orders, we save and re-use them, we ask you do the same.
We print on paper that contains post-consumer recycled paper.
We re-cycle cardboards, glass, paper and anything else we can get our hands on that stops it hitting the land fill.
Summer of 2010 we are obtaining an unwanted compost bin to use
Any scrap metal, steel, iron from the workshop is collected and taken to be recycled
