Picasso Jasper is also known as Picasso stone, it is named after the painter Pablo Picasso it is found in the state of Utah in the US. Lovely gentle shades blacks, greys, and tans.
The stone is a form of limestone, even though it is named jasper. The wonderful patterns are from the intense heat and pressure within the earth, and the lines are created from iron oxides.
Metaphysically people enjoy using the stone in mediation and connect it to the lower chakras.
