Carnelian is a stabilizing stone with high energy. It is believe to promote vitality and motivation. In ancient Egyptian days Carnelian was worn on the hand to still jealousy, envy, anger and hatred. It is used still today to promote peace and harmony while dispelling depression. In Renaissance magic the carnelian was engraved with a sword or an image of a warrior. Then, as a magical amulet was placed in the home to guard against lightening and storms, or also carried as a protective amulet against enchantments.
Carnelian is also believed to strengthen astral vision and is worn to bed to halt nightmares.

CUTE ORANGE REDDISH PEBBLES!!!
They are so smooth. I thought they would be a rich crimson as displayed in the photo but all in all they are quality stones. The ones I received were a bit on the pale side. Nevertheless another fine edition to my mini gem collection.
